QuickBooks provides an exceptional tool to manage accounting records. However, mechanisms that would prevent incorrect accounting entries are yet to be developed for this software.  Among the most common areas where transactions can be misclassified there are using incorrect accounts, ignoring open invoices while recording customer payments, mistakes related to payroll and payroll taxes and many other.

We offer Quickbooks clean-up service that provides an assessment of your accounting records health. We will review the company setup including the Chart of Accounts, Items list, Sales tax, Inventory and Payroll. We will verify entries to identify possible incorrect postings and misclassifications related to Invoices, Deposits, Accounts Payable, Payroll and Payroll taxes. We will investigate potential inventory issues including negative inventory and possible discrepancies between inventory reports and the totals of corresponding balance sheet accounts. Among other things, we will investigate and correct balance sheet for accounts with unusual balances (e.g. asset and liability accounts with negative balances). In addition, we will ensure that there are no discrepancies in sales tax, payroll and payroll tax related accounts.

A detailed document will be issued that include recommendations on adjustment needed as well as advices on best practices. Upon your review of the file assessment and approval of the proposed adjustments we will do the corrections and provide you an updated company file.
